The Mulliez group is strengthening its presence at the foot of Pierre Mauroy stadium in Villeneuve d’Ascq-Lezennes with, for the first contract, a land development project on Boulevard de Tournai in Villeneuve d’Ascq (Nord) in a tertiary business park and a new Leroy Merlin store for project owners Leroy Merlin and Aventim.
With a worksite launch at the start of June, the scheduled works will consist of filling in old underground chalk quarries using mass earthworks, backfilling, compacting, and filling with sand-cement mortar. The project is located on an approximately 99,000m² plot.
The second project located in Lezennes (just a short distance away) concerns the development of land located between Boulevard de Tournai, Rue Moulin de Lezennes, and Avenue de l’Avenir in Lezennes (Nord).
The works will focus on earthworks in the centre of the 27,000m² plot, grouting to fill in the edges of the plot, and backfilling in the central section.
The project is part of the project to construct a building complex including Kiabi’s future global headquarters, a glazed base structure (stores, offices, etc.), a restaurant area, and parking for project owner SCI Lezennes Immo.
