Tivoli - Bordeaux / Luxury Foundations

Franki Fondation South-West’s teams handled one of Bordeaux’s biggest secant pile worksites over summer 2019.

The car park on the 2nd underground floor of the future luxury apartment building will be supported by 310lm of walls with 2,000m² of visible surface area.

Overall, the 5-person team led by a worksite manager will have set up no fewer than 560 piles (diameter: 600mm, depth: between 11 and 12m) over a 2-month period.  It also set up a layer of struts (80t of steel).

Despite slight overconsumption of concrete in Bordeaux’s karstic horizons, the worksite encountered no specific issues and the struts are currently being disassembled.
